Hi, a few months ago, I shifted my data center and would love to share whatever I learnt. 1. Make sure you know approximately how long the process is going to take. Start as early as you can, don’t underestimate the time it could take.
2. Come up with a floor plan for the new data center, keeping in mind your earlier data center. Identify points of improvement and use them.
3. Your checklist should cover the following:
a- Fiber Optic
b- Power
c- UPS
d- Network Cable – Network Room
e- Network Cable – Office
f- Shelves
g- Racks
h- Cupboards
i- Cooling
j- Ventilation
k- Network Equipments (Printers, Scanners etc)
l- Tools Required
