I am using Mac OS X Leopard. I actually want to record a music recording in midi file that is in mp3 format. Can anyone help me find Mac OSX audio output recorder?

If I understood you well, you want to play mp3 file, record it with microfone and then save it in midi file. If that so, then I found good application for you. You can find it here: http://www.highcriteria.com/. It's called Total Recorder.
