It is a well known fact that using password managers is an easy way to manage passwords on devices. I am told that iCloud keychain is best for the Apple devices. I am planning to use it on my iPhone. Do iCloud Keychain generate strong passwords? Can anybody using it share your experience? Can anyone guide me on using iCloud KeyChain?

The iCloud Keychain is Apple’s effort to take password management to the mainstream. Using iCloud Keychain, your passwords, account names as well as credit card numbers can be securely stored on your iPad or iPhone keychain. It can also be synchronized to all your devices using iCloud. But in order to use iCloud Keychain, your device must be running on iOS 7.0.3 or higher or Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks or higher if you are using a Mac PC.

If you skipped the setup after upgrading your device to iOS 7.0.3, here’s how to do it. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, iCloud, and then enable or turn on Keychain. Follow the succeeding instructions after that. If you want to set it up on your Mac PC, you should be using Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

Go to the Apple menu, System Preferences, and then click iCloud. Select Keychain. Enter your Apple ID and password and then follow the succeeding instructions after that.
