I am seeking help for the ‘Disk Cleanup Tool’. It does display one identity in the network in the start menu. The identity should have access to the Control Panel. I don’t have any idea which is the best way to set that option from the start menu. I also thought about the registry fix to the current user, but the profile has no access to registry. I am looking for an easy method to do it. If anybody can help, please do.

Well, it seems you are not using the right procedure to find the  disk clean up tool. It is a windows application and when you install the operating system it is automatically installed. If you are using  windows vista windows 7, you will need to do the following to find it:

  • On your computer you will click on start.
  • And then you will type 'disk cleanup' in the search box.
  • Once you have typed it, you will see it listed among the programs.
  • Just click on it to open it.
  • Thereafter you can continue with the other processes to clean up the disk.

Hello,

To clear unnecessary files from your computer's hard disk I will suggest you to use Cleanmgr.exe. To specify that Cleanmgr.exe cleans up certain files you can use command-line options. By using the Scheduled Tasks tool you can then schedule the task to run at a specific time.

For starting the Disk Cleanup tool run the Cleanmgr.exe command.

 Or

Go to Start Manu > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup

Best of luck.
