I was so excited when I finally got a hand on anno 1503 gold multiplayer. I was able to install it just fine, I have even tried to play the game for a bit. But before long, I am struggling to make it run as it starts to get crashing. It just turns gray and then I need to go to task manager to restart my computer. This is only happening to this particular game, so I suspect that this may not compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. Anybody can help me with this?

I have researched about anno 1503 gold edition player. And I found is anno 1503 player works on windows 7 platform but only in windows XP compatibility mode. But then I found anno 1404 gold player which is actually available on windows XP and 7 platforms.
