At first you need to start command prompt. You will not be able to see command prompt directly. Open the Run command line. For this search in start menu typing ‘Run” or press 'Windows + R' Key from the keyboard.

Now there are two options:

1. In the run command line box browse for 'Snaglt' folder. Open the folder and double click on EXE or MSI file you find. This will add the installation file the command line. Then type Camtasia.msi/passive.

Or

2. In the run command line box type:

(regsvr32 %SystemRoot%system32vbscript.dll) if you have 32 bit windows.

(regsvr32 %SystemRoot%system64vbscript.dll) if you have 64 bit windows.

If this is successful a message 'the registration of the DLL succeeded' will appear and if not then go to Start- Control Panel- User Accounts- Turn User Account Control. Uncheck the option "Use User Account Control(UAC) to help protect your computer". Click ok and do the option 2 again.
