Calendar Sync Problem in Blackberry desktop Manager

Hi all

Just I have upgraded my computer to Windows 7 from XP. But after that I have got that my Blackberry Desktop Manager will not open as a result I am not able to sync my calendar.

Recently I installed the 6.02 version of BDM. When I try to run it I find the welcome display but when I select 'get started' I find a windows error message saying that it just stopped working.

Please give me a solution. I need to solve it.

Hello Krystle,

There may be a number of reasons as to why you are getting that error after you upgraded your operating system:

  • First, the display drivers you are using on your computer may be out of date, or they may not be supported by windows 7. You will therefore need to go to the device manager and update the display drivers and see if after that the problem will be solved.
  • The BDM version you installed may be the one causing the problem too. It may not be compatible with windows 7. It may be meant to be used on windows XP. What you therefore will need to do is check your system specifications and then download a BDM version that is supported by your system.

You may also just try reinstalling BDM for there might have been a problem when you performed the installation the first time.
