Burning .mkv files with Nero Vision failed

I need to burn my files through Nero Vision. However, I can't seem to import .mkv files with it so I can't continue burning. I want to know if I need to convert first my .mkv files before I can be able to burn it right. Or am I doing some wrong process that's why I can't continue? Please help me fix this. Thanks.

One good software to covert Mkv files are ConvertXToDVD, which you can use and it works great with no problems. The video quality normally remains good and the time of conversion is also reasonable.
 
Also sometimes burning depends on your dvd/bd-player. Few players are capable of direct playback of mkv files – in this case, you can burn it to a data disc.  If your player does not support this, start nero video and go to create  DVD then DVD-Video.
