I'm running a bulletin board using Discus 4.10.1 Freeware edition.
Last week three users reported that when they tried to access a certain thread, they got the following error message :
I searched Google but couldn't find anything similar.Â
Also I think that the 'script' tags seem suspicious, because (as far as I know) Discus is running on Perl without any JavaScript.
Possible Causes:
As you can see the script tag not properly closed. where it should have been closed. First and foremost possible cause is "javascript not properly functioning" to authenticate the user as board member.
Problem can also be a result of skin alteration.
Online users may have the problem because of their Browsers issues not the internal network users may have this issue.
Solution:
This is also a server side issue if you have not ‘enable javascript warning’. Try to enable it first.
Other hosting users of this board must have no sign of such issues. So make sure you hosting server provide the best issue resolving support for this.
Try the same DiscussWare Board on another server. This may give you better results.
Try another Board Theme.
