Bugs in MS-Power point 2010

I have listed some bugs, which I am getting in PowerPoint 2010.

a) Command Line parameters do not have any documentation.

b) It is not allowing to give space in the play list file and the play list file should be text file only.

c) Even if the files and play list are in the same folder, file path should be given as complete path.

d) Comparison of purpose PPVIEW32.EXE

1. Play list file needed as .lst

2. Allowing space in the name of play list file.

3. If the files are in the same folder, where the play list file is, no need to add the full path.

The error messages are not helping. When the .ppt file is not found, it gives the error message for that unsupported file. If there is any space in play list file, it says that file is not found. Can you help me to get rid of these bugs? Bugs in MS-Power point 2010.  Bugs in MS-Power point 2010.

Hallo Callum,

If you are saving the PowerPoint file in another format, I will suggest that you use the default PowerPoint file format which is the .ppt format but since you are using ms PowerPoint 2010 you will have to save the document in the compatibility format for it to work well. Use the procedure below to save the document in the compatibility format:

While the PowerPoint document is opened:

  • Click on file in the ms PowerPoint menu and then click save as.
  • Choose the PowerPoint 97-2003 compatibility format and then click.
  • Choose the destination in the window that will open and save the document.
