Bluetooth function is not working

The Bluetooth of dell computer is not working and could not finding the Bluetooth device.

After uninstalling the Bluetooth, I reinstall the Bluetooth dell 4010. But the Bluetooth is not working.

Hello Mr. Apurno.

There are two possible reasons for this problem. Have you installed the quickset software? If you don't have installed it, try to install it now. Then go to windows mobility center. You will find an option 'wireless shows'. Turn that on.

Or right click on the Bluetooth folder. Select run as administrator. Then go to command mode and type 'FSQUIRT'.

If these steps does not help then uninstall your Bluetooth driver permanently. Then go to dell website and download a new version. Install it again.

Hi,

First check whether your Bluetooth device installed properly or not. Install it properly and go to the folder "C:delldrivers". Find out the driver name and execute the file “Setup.exe”.

If the driver want permission to activate your Bluetooth antenna , cancel it. Then in that folder find out the file ”Inst.exe” and execute it. Now click “next”. If the software ask for activation activate it. Now in "C:Program Files" find the folder named Bluetooth Software. In that folder execute "BTTray.exe".

An icon will appear. Click the icon to turn it on.

Hope after completion of installation you can use it properly.

Hello,

Switch on your Bluetooth device using the function keys on your keyboard. Wait until the system detects your device, after which install the driver and software for the said device. You need to reboot your system after the installation complete.

Afterwards, right click on ‘My Computer’ select ‘Properties’, then click ‘Device Manager’, and check either the device in installed properly or not. Follow the link to download the driver.
