Hi,

I tried to install the BlueStacks in the computer to connect my BlackBerry Phone. The download was complete, but the error appears while I setup. And I then tried to repair the software and install but I get the same error message again. How will I setup the Bluestacks? Do I need to change the settings or properties? Please help. Thanks.

Error 1706.No valid source could be found for product BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1. The Windows Installer cannot continue.

Hello,

Windows Installer is one of the greatest services provided along Windows to install products. As Bluestacks is facing problem, you can use a Microsoft tool.

Microsoft Fixit is a good tool that works around many known bugs. This program is small and works effectively. Just download and run.

This problem looks like with registry issue so the Fixit tool should go fine.

Also, I think this process can’t be completed because Bluestacks is a program that works in a simulated mode to run Android apps. This is nothing more than an Android emulator. As it doesn’t provide all the features and components of Android, it might hardly work with your BlackBerry phone.

I guess the error is pretty obvious. When you installed BlueStacks, it tried to search for the program BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1 but it failed to find it. This means, the BlackBerry Desktop Software is not yet installed on your computer. Stop installing BlueStacks since the required application is not yet available.

Install BlackBerry Desktop Software first. To fix your problem, download and install BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1. It requires Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. You also need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 if you don’t have it yet on your computer. BlackBerry Desktop Software will not run without Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.

When BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 are already installed, try installing BlueStacks again.

Hi

Just disable your UAC (User Account Control), hope after that this error message will not appear. For disable UAC you need to do some steps. Pay a visit this Techyv link to get that procedure.

ArcGIS desktop. Windows Installer cannot continue.
