Hi Berthapearll,

If you want to run Android apps on your PC you can use BlueStacks App Player 0  7 0. It is originally designed for windows operating systems only.

Basic Requirements to install BlueStacks App Player 0 7 0

Processor                            : Pentium 4 or higher

Ram                                       : 256 MB or higher

Operating System            : Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

The standard version of the application allows for a limited number of apps to be installed, but an upcoming premium version will allow for an unlimited number of apps.

BlueStacks App Player is currently in initial stage which means that problems are to be expected.

BlueStacks is an application that allows a user to run Android applications on the computer. It can be a game or just an ordinary application that normally runs on an Android Smartphone. You can install BlueStacks on Windows Vista if you are using Service Pack 2 or higher. If you haven’t updated yet to Service Pack 2, download the update from Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2.

The application also requires 2 GB RAM and 4 GB free hard drive space. You should also update the driver of your graphics adapter. If you are into NVIDIA, visit NVIDIA Driver Downloads. Select your hardware from the list and your operating system then click Search to find an updated driver for your graphics card model. If you are using an ATI graphics adapter, visit AMD Drivers Download Center.

If you have a built-in Intel graphics adapter, visit Intel Download Center. To find an updated driver for your graphics adapter, enter your graphics adapter model in the search box then click on the magnifying glass to search or simply press Enter. If you don’t know your graphics card model, use the Intel Driver Update Utility. When you use this tool, I think you need to use Microsoft Internet Explorer for the tool to work properly.

If you have a Matrox graphics adapter, visit Matrox Driver and Software Download. In case you got a message saying your graphics adapter is not compatible with BlueStacks, you probably need a much newer graphics adapter. To download the latest version of BlueStacks, visit BlueStacks Android Emulator.
