I am using window XP on my PC it works most of the time finely but sometimes there comes a blue screen with buffer overloaded message and it turn off.
Then I have to manually restart it, why it is so?
How to troubleshoot this issue, resolve this issue at priority

The screen which you saw is called BSOD (Blue screen of death). BSOD can be a result of many thing, could be heating of system, sometime code written for the devices are not proper, faulty components, power supply issue, DLL bugs etc.
You have not provided the details of your BSOD properly . When Blue screen of death occurs the minidumps are stored in the PC. Use BSODViewer to get the details.Â
