Blackberry passport pop-up keyboard and call issues

My passport pop up keyboard doesn't work properly. Sometimes when I am trying to enter several numbers at the same time, pop up keyboard disappears automatically. This has happened many times now. Is there a problem with OS? Other than that, during a call my calling partner can hear my voice getting louder all of a sudden and the next second he cannot hear me at all. What is the issue?

If that’s the case, the problem is definitely not the keyboard since there is also a problem with the audio during a phone call. Try restarting your phone first then check if the keyboard is back to normal. If there is still a problem then there is something wrong with the device.

Try updating your handset’s operating system. Since you are using a BlackBerry, there are different ways to do it. First is using a web browser and updating it directly from the internet with a computer. To try this, you need to be using Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.

For Mozilla Firefox, visit Firefox Free Download to download the latest version. Or visit Download Firefox in your Language to download Mozilla Firefox according to your language and also to select your operating system. Once installed and or updated, start Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer then visit BlackBerry Software Updates.

Once on the site, check your browser for a message asking you to run an add-on. Follow the instructions and install or run the add-on. Once completed, you should be able to see the “Check for Updates” button on the site. Connect your BlackBerry phone to your computer using the USB cable then click “Check for Updates”.
