There are different reasons for this error message four your info. First you need to check if the BIOS is looking on the right drive and partition. you may also check if the partition on you're drive is active. or remove anything that you plug before when your system was working properly hardware failure also cause this one. You should check these things first and if they are all ok, you can try to make a new bootdisk or try you're win XP cd to repair the boot problem.

If you are getting this error that means you are unable to boot into desktop due to NTLDR file corrupt. We need windows xp cd to fix this issue.

In order to fix this issue follow the steps below:

  • Boot Windows and start the Recovery Console

    1. Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and then restart the computer.

    2. Click to select any options that are required to start the computer from the CD-ROM drive if you are prompted.

    3. When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.

Note If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation that you must access from the Recovery Console.

    4. When prompted, type the Administrator password. If the administrator password is blank, just press ENTER.

    5. Enter in the following commands
