Bitnami wordpress error installing programs

Hi there,

I want to install Bitnami WordPress on my laptop. I have download Bitnami from Dropbox because a friend of mine use the same version and is working just great. Why is not working on my laptop and o my friend laptop is working ? What is the problem with my laptop ?

This type of error is caused by the wrong destination path in settings. In fact the type of file that you are coping is not clear. Suppose, here is a directory you are going to create.You need to change the permission settings for the "upload" folder  by using FTP Software. You can change these settings by taking the following steps. 

  1. Right click the folder "upload" 
  2. Type in "777"
  3. Check the box "Recurs into subdirectories" 
  4. Allow the WordPress to write not only the "upload" folder, but create the folders like "Eterm-Color" or "03" "04" and write them too.
