Bitfinder blocks the installation of AutoCad Civil 3d 2009

My anti-virus of choice is Bitdefender. I turned it off recently because it detected a virus in the installation DVD of my AutoCad Civil 3D 2009.

Even after Bitdefender was no longer active, I still cannot finish the installation of AutoCad.

It also produced errors that almost filled my screen. I desperately need AutoCad as much as I need my Bitdefender.

AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009

Internal Error 2711. R17.2_ACAD_7000_409

                     OK

Error

Fatal error during installation.

#202: failed to run AdskExcuteSequence!

                   OK

Error

Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install

                                                      OK

Error

failed to get database handle!

                OK

AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009

Failed to initialize AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009

                   OK

How do I get to keep both installed and running?

Hellow Halin,

Disabling an antivirus should have solved your problem. Since it didn’t work for you could be that your AUTOCAD software contains a virus. Another possibility is that you are running out of RAM; upgrade it because this application uses a lot of memory.

But before that, try the following procedure before trying to install AUTOCAD,

Step 1

Un-install completely your Antivirus (Bit defender) by going to control panel > Add remove programs > Bit defender then click on uninstall.

After this procedure restart your computer.

Step 2

Install AUTOCAD into your system.

Step 3

Install bit defender in your system

Hope this helps,

Henry.

Hi Halin,

One of the best solutions has introduced in the above mentioned comment.

I think my advice also will help you. If you uninstall bit defender then install AutoCAD, I think this problem will start again when you will try to run the AutoCAD program.

You can start to use Avira free antivirus for your PC's protection and then also can use AutoCAD easily.

Thanks.
