BitDefender Issues: Unable to get a firm Internet connections

Good day! While trying to fix some issues, I ran Cleaner on my PC. After that, I started having problems with my internet connection and my installed Bitdefender. I started to have to re-enter my WEP security key everytime I reboot my computer. I tried solving this by checking the “Connect Automatically” box, but nothing happened. I tried to check “Manage Wireless Networks” but no network is shown even if I am currently connected to a network.

My Bitdefender doesn’t run without manually scanning my PC or updating it manually, too. The icon from the toolbar is gone. It doesn’t show any error message but it also doesn’t load.

Please help me. I am really starting to get desperate.

Hi Jonah,

You may want to restore your computer to a previous setting where it works fine. To restore your computer on a previous setting, you go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. You would need to choose a date which is applicable for you. It should be before the issue on your computer started. Once you are able to choose the date you wanted to restore your computer to.

You may also opt to remove your cleaner and bitdefender first on your computer. Check if your Wireless application and connection is working. You can then  install the application one at a time and see if it will work.
