Bitdefender fails to find viruses

Hi Steven,

After reading your post, I get the feeling that you have been attacked by an adware. Technically, it is not listed as a malware. The adware itself shows you the warning.

However, to be sure about it:

1. Boot your computer in safe mode.

2. Run your anti-virus.

3. Do a full scan and see whether you get any virus.

4. Clean PC.

If the virus is still not found, you can be sure that it is an adware, so conventional antivirus won't detect it.

So, to solve that annoying issue:

1. Download 'TDSSKiller' by Kaspersky

2. Install and run the software.

3. Scan your computer and clean if the adware is found.
