BIOS update interrupt on Dell
A failed BIOS update is a risky and an expensive procedure to get back your PC alive. Before you start the procedure you need to read your motherboard manual.
You have to follow two steps to get started. (is not a recommended procedure if you are not a professional)
1) You have to open up your computer case and change a jumper on the motherboard into the Recovery Mode Position (read the manual which is the Recovery Position-it differs from a motherboard to another).
The jumper is located near the BIOS battery. After the first step is finished, reboot your PC.
2) If the first step failed, you have to go with your PC to an authorized service to roll back the failed update and Rewrite your BIOS.
