Hello there,

Getting black screen requires knowledge of identifying the main problem because you need to know the details and find out why you do get this issue. Black screen often cause by bad location of a new hardware installed, RAM and Video card is not properly seated and other situation that might happen.

When installing a battery in your computer and you get black screen, then the battery needs to be in the right spot. It needs to be plugged/connected in the right location.

Remove the battery then put it back, make sure that the battery is properly seated. This require concentration because you have to place the side of it in the right spot.

If black screen continue from happening, make sure that the battery is fully charged.

Try testing out the battery to the same laptop as yours, maybe from a friend or relative. If the battery did not work then you have a battery problem and you might need to have another one bought or just simply leave it as is and rely to a charger while using.

It is a monitor problem if the battery is working, the flex cable of the monitor might be affected while the battery is inserted. You can try this by putting the battery correctly to place and then it is not opening properly. Try moving your screen in different angles of bend to test if it is becoming lose.

If you want to fix this, open the monitor screen and simply look for the flex cable and then just try tightening it up to fix the problem. Put some tape or something to hold it.
