Best and free Desktop Notes for XP

I wasn’t able to find sticky notes or desktop notes that feature alarms or somewhat similar but I’ll list below some of the sticky notes I managed to find that works on Windows XP.

• XP Note 1.0 – this is a very small piece of software that you can use to add sticky notes right on to your desktop. This is very easy to use and will help you not to forget any tasks again. You will need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher before using this software. This is a freeware and can be downloaded from Softpedia® – Updated one minute ago | XP Note 1.0.
• Sticky Notes 2.3 – this costs $4.99 and can also be downloaded as a trial version. Supports Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. You can download it from CNET | Download.com | Download Sticky Notes.
• Hott Notes 4.1 – helps you put simple, and easy to use sticky notes on your desktop. You can download it from HottNotes – Free sticky notes reminders for your desktop.
• TK8 StickyNotes – this software is free if you’ll be using it for your own personal use. But if you’ll going to use it on your business, you will be able to use it for 30 days and then you need to buy the Pro edition license to make it work again. This supports all Microsoft Server editions, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. You can download it from TK8 Software®. You can get the Pro edition for $19.95.
