Benchmark Factory Failed to Create Object

I recently installed Benchmark Factory 6.1 on my Windows Vista computer. I am planning to run a database load test with thousands of virtual users in our database. After installation, I started the Benchmark Factory Agent and selected Settings – Options and entered the machine name or IP of the Benchmark Factory console.

When I tried to connect to the benchmark factory console machine. I got the error message below:

Benchmark Factory Console

Com failed to create object, contact your software vendor.

I have no idea why this error message showed up, after I tried to connect to the benchmark factory console machine. Does anyone have the same problem using this program?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can remove the load holding tables and just use the Initialize holding tables item. It will initialize/load the holding tables based on the data in the other TPC-E tables and for Oracle testing BMF requires, that the Oracle client libraries be installed. In particular the oci.dll file, which is installed by the client installation.

James,

I know the solution for your problem. Benchmark 6.1 requires a database software settings to run your database. So the only solution for you is to install a client side DB software. In order to do that you  can simply install the Microsoft Soft SQL Server client software.

It will support Benchmark to do your work.

Enjoy.
