It means BBC is going to broadcast that particular show in 3D, which is compatible in 3D capable TV. Just like a normal series or shows on Television, that follows a certain script which is made for filming or broadcasting and this time BBC makes it in 3D unlike in a normal TV Shows or films that is not in 3D.
