Battlefield 3 could not be activated

Hi there,

I have an active Origin Account and I want to activate my new game Battlefield 3. Because of this error I cannot activate my game. I have registered other games on this Origin account and it worked without errors. This is the first game with error and I don’t know how can I solve this. Please help me to activate my Battlefield 3 game. Is there a problem with the account or the game ?

Hello there,

You may try these-

 

Click Origin menu > select "Reload my Games".

After refresh> restart Origin Client.

You should be able to launch Battlefield 3.

 

OR

Go to

C:ProgramDataElectronic ArtsEA ServicesLicense                                                                                          ** hidden folder on your machine**

Take back up and Delete either 71067.dlf or 71069.dlf (depending on if you have Limited Edition or Standard)

Reboot your machine.

Launch Origin.

Try to launch BF3.

OR

Exit by right-clicking Origin in your system tray (near the clock) and selecting "Exit."

Open Internet Explorer (this will only work with Internet Explorer, not other browsers). Enter the following address into your address bar C:ProgramDataOriginDownloadCache and press "Enter/Return."

Delete the files in this directory

Restart your machine.

Launch Origin and login to your Origin account.

Attempt to launch Battlefield 3.
