Backup as a service provider

The data migration from the company to the backup service provider infrastructure must be included in the agreement, and preferably, not payable. The service provider must be able to ship the device to a recovery site or make the recovery locally, in the case of a disaster recovery event. The service provider must abide by all the data protection laws. In the case of a mixture of local and international laws, the policies must be sound. The service provider must also adopt metered billing and provide an invoice. A detailed backup report must be given. They should also perform optimum data segregation based not the customers’ requirements. The service provider must be capable of holding a separate bandwidth and developing an exclusive infrastructure for the client, if necessary. In addition to all this, the staff must be qualified enough to handle troubleshooting, SLA monitoring and be accountable for restoration. The pricing must also be nominal.
