Hi all,

I stored some messages on my Android phone, I would like to keep a backup on my computer or any other form of backup available for a galaxy phone and also print some messages. How can I transfer contacts and messages from Samsung galaxy to PC? Can I print the messages from the phone or do I wait until I can print from the PC?

Hello,

Yes you can print your text messages either from your android device directly or via your PC. Printing via PC is the best option since printing from device is not always successful and satisfactory. You need Sms to text app for this.

Requirements: Sms to text app from play store and a printer ofcourse.

1.First download SMS to Text from playstore and install it.

2. Now open it and press export to sd card.

3. Now choose which file type you want to save. Saving to txt is better option as it is easy to print.

4. Now connect your note 2 with PC via USB cable and navigate to the destination folder of the saved file.

5. Copy it to your PC hard drive. Now print it normally.

Now if you want to print directly from your device, use Printer Share Mobile print.

Hope it helps.

Enjoy!

Hi Simon,

Let me answer your questions one by one.

To keep back up of your messages, i will advice you to download an app called SMS Backup. It works by creating your message back ups to your email. You can also search the messages from your mail

.

You can also test 'Email Text Messages' which u can get from here

Next you want to transfer your contacts to pc!

Google backup is one of the easy ways. The settings for which may vary from phone to phone, but in general you can find the option from settings > Backup and reset > backup my data

In this way you could save your contacts to your associated Google account.

I would say printing from your pc would be more convenient

Regards

Antonette
