Hallo Olivia,

I wish you could have stated which browser you are using.

But since you have not, I will tell you the procedure for backing up IE and Mozilla Firefox  files:

IE

  • Make sure you have opened internet explorer and the click on file and then import and export.
  • Click next in the window that will come up.
  • You will see Export favorites, click on it and then click next
  • From the list of folders, select the ones you want to backup, the favorites too and then click next.
  • You will have backup up your files IE files.

Firefox

  • While Firefox is opened click on Bookmarks and then organize bookmarks.
  • Look for export HTML and click on it and then click backup. Choose the option for exporting in HTML so that the files can be read on all browsers
  • Choose the destination and type the file name to save the files.
