Hi all,

I have BA Systems EN3500 what would be the config for squid cache? Guys, I have BA systems en3500 which runs on my network. On that router there is a Triple A server whose users have a pope connection for getting access to the internet. I have now set up a cache-server for Port 80 traffic. I have configured my IP-ACCESS LIST and ROUTE-MAP so that the router can pass port 80 traffic from each user through the cache-server. However it will not open internet sites. I am using the following configuration Outgoing traffic, User´s request goes into AAA server>router Lan port>cache engine>router land port>router wan port>internet. And for incoming traffic, internet>router wan>router land>cache engine>router land>aaa server. I need to know the ACL, PBR, OR the route map or any different config where the router is needed to pass www traffic through the cache-engine and will any other traffic go directly through the router defaultly.

I think you should open port 80 for incoming traffic to the user and pass port 80 traffic from each user through the cache server to allow authentication.

Assuming you are using RADIUS authentication for accessing the web for its security then you also need proxy exceptions so that authentication could bypass proxy servers.

you have mentioned 80 port for incoming and 80 port for outgoing.thats good.but i didn't understood by "AAA" what do you mean by that????

you may need to open/forward ports to allow radius authentication to take place.
Every client may need a proxy exception to go through the proxy server if this a web page.
