Avoidance of frequent Firefox updates

I had this online job that runs only with the Firefox version 3. But every time it has a latest version, no luck to my side since my computer automatically receives its new version. I want to stop it; I can't able to proceed to my job if this happens all the time. I don't know how to turn off its update mode, I am annoyed already. I hope someone will help me.

Hi there,

You can have the option you want to. Firefox recommends regularly for its update, and we all know it's the best browser in Internet browsing nowadays. Here's the ways to stop its frequent updates: Open you Firefox and click its option menu at the tools bar menu. Next to it, select the advanced tab follows by the tab of update. Right from there unmarked all the update option manually. From that moment, your update will not start anymore automatically. But if ever you wish to update it again, just go to the prior steps and mark the updates. God bless.

  • Log on with an Administrator account used to install Mozilla FireFox.
  • Open Mozilla Firefox.
  • Open Tools and then select Options.
  • Choose Advanced tab and then click Update.
  • In the Update tab, below the Automatically check for updates to.
  • Uncheck FireFox, Add-ons and Search Engine.
  • Press OK.
  • Now you can use Mozilla FireFox without update.
  • Now you won't be annoyed anymore. lol

(Turning your updates off never downloads important patches. You can receive an error or you can't visit the site if the website you are visiting is requiring a new version of a browser.)
