I have been using Samsung digicam to record videos for my animation project but the problem is that it's recorded in avi format and I am unable to play it on mac can anybody provide avi viewer mac quicktime please share with me the details or link

You need an avi media player for Mac to play your recording video. There is a problem with Mac Quicktime player video codec. Mac Quicktime players can only play videos that are compressed by a codec that Quicktime recognizes. To fix this problem, you need to convert the video file. After converting video file, you will be able to play the video file.
