Hi! Friends,
I used Avast Free Antivirus and updated it regularly.
But, I have a problem with my pen drive. Whenever I used the pen drive its showing a folder namely "RECYCLER" and Avast shows an error message "MALWARE BLOCKED". Though I delete that folder, next time it will automatically show the same. And I also formatted the entire pen driver in Command Prompt. But the same problem repeated again and again.
What is the solution for this? May I know is it harmful to my system? How can I remove that folder completely from my pen drive? And is there any settings available in Avast to guard from that virus?
I have attached herewith a JPEG file to describe the problem in brief.

That was a nice question you asked and I will be proud to help you with it. The 'recycler' folder in your pen drive is a folder that creates itself on the pen/flash drive automatically like the autorun folder that shows the Windows opens your pen drive automatically.
In most cases, the 'Recycler' folder is usually not a virus since it's usually as an indication that there is a folder or files deleted from your pen drive. However if the Antivirus shows that it might be harmful or a threat to your computer, you should scan your drive with the latest version of Karspersky Antivirus ( Avast may not be strong enough,unless with the latest updates).

Avast will not solve the above problem. You need buy malware such as the PC secure. In that case you can completely remove the malware completely. In that case your pen drive you will be completely free from Malware. You need to know that Avast is not good enough to remove the Malware. You need a better quality Antivirus for that like PC secure.
