Try checking first if your system meets the necessary requirements. For Autodesk Revit Architecture 2013, you must have Windows XP (Home or Professional edition) Service Pack 2 or higher or Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition), Intel Pentium or higher processor with SSE2 technology support, 4 GB RAM, 1280 x 1024 screen resolution, and 5 GB free hard drive space.

If you verified that your system is fully compatible, try updating Autodesk Revit Architecture 2013 with the latest patch. First, download and install Revit Architecture 2013 Update Release 1. Download the version applicable to your operating system. Once Update Release 1 is installed, next, download and install Revit Architecture 2013 Update Release 3. See if this works. There are prerequisites to installing the latest patch.

Before you can install Update Release 3, you must install first either Update Release 1 or Update Release 2. Installing Update Release 2 requires installing Update Release 1. So, to make a shortcut, the best way to install Update Release 3 is to install first Update Release 1.
