Hi there,

During the initiating phase of installing Infrastructure Design Suite Premium this error appeared and closed the install. I have the right and compatible installer and it should work. Any solution for this error ? Is there an error with the installer or with my PC ?

Thank you !

Hello,

Such problem might occur during the process of installation of one or more DLLs in the bin directory that are locked by a process for several reasons.

You can use any unlocker software for this purpose. You can use Unlocker, the best unlocking software.

Also, the following steps will solve this issue too.

1. Stop the site under IIS.

2. Reset IIS using “iisreset.exe” or from “Services” in “Control Panel”.

3. Via “EpiServer Installer” program, upgrade your site.

4. Start IIS.

Now, your weird error should disappear.

If you are not yet doing anything with the program and you are simply installing it on your computer, make sure your computer meets the requirements. Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite Premium 2014 supports Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition) and Windows 8 (Pro or Enterprise edition) only all 64-bit. 32-bit Microsoft Windows is not supported.

It requires Single-Core or Multi-Core Intel Pentium or equivalent AMD processor with SSE2 support, 4 GB RAM, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, and 40 GB free space. For the complete details of the specifications, head down to Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite Premium 2014. Also, when installing the program, don’t run the MSI file (.msi).

Look for the “setup.exe” file on the root of the disc or installation media and double-click it to install the software.
