AutoCAD unable to read and write protected memory

As I was doing my project in AutoCAD for my engineering class an error appeared. The error is pasted below. As you can see there is a continue button, if I try to press it, it doesn’t do anything. It is really pointless. I have to do the whole project all over again because of this. Is there any solution for this so that I will not redo whatever I have done in my project? Thanks.

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

AutoCAD unable to read and write protected memory

Greetings,

The error you ran into has something to do with application files.

It's also possible that it is caused by indexing, so you can disable content indexing, as the first step. If you haven't, download and install 2012 Service Pack 2 from here, 2013 Service Pack 1 from here and Service Pack 2 from here.

If the above suggestions didn't work, try to repair the installation.

1. Click Start > Control Panel.

2. Open Programs and Features.

3. Look for AutoCAD, highlight it and click Change.
4. Choose the option to Repair the installation.

5. Continue following the onscreen instructions until complete.
