Audio sync issues wmv on Mac Lion

I have a 27" iMac that has a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M Graphics Card and OSx Mountain Lion.  I installed Flip4Mac WMV Player for Mac so I can play wmv files.  I'm having audio sync issues wmv on Mac, video is not in sync with audio.  Any ideas what the problem is?

Greetings Herbert J Smitherman,

Did you check if the video runs smooth on other platforms like Windows? Maybe the audio problem is in the file itself. Make sure you check it that it runs on other platforms flawlessly.

Flip4Mac is a good software but you can never know. Therefore give it another try with VLC player. (click to go official website).

VLC also works fine on mac and can run WMV files without any problem.
