My Logitech microphone messenger seven is not working; I can hardly hear any sound. Can someone out there tell me what to do to make it work? I tried installing the driver but nothing happened. Do you have any idea what seems to be the problem, and what should I do to put an end to it?

Hello Owen

In order for this problem to be solved, you should have provided more details. The Logitech Microphone model or the Logitech Headset model that you are using, the OS used.

However, I might still be able to help you with this. Please do the following. Go to Start, and in the search box type Troubleshooting and press Enter. In there, select Troubleshoot audio recording.

Complete that wizard and see if the source of the problem is found.

If not, go to Start and in the Search box type Speech Recognition and click Enter. Click on Set up microphone and complete the Recognition. Make sure that all volumes are at 100 and the Microphone is not muted.

Go to Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound. In there, click on Sound. In the Recordings tab, right click on the Microphone and select Properties. Go to the Levels tab, and make sure the level is set to 100. No boost is required.

I hope you will find this information useful.
