I am prompted to verify the Audio-Midi settings while trying to open my Amarra software. Do I have to change anything in the MacBook Audio-midi settings to resolve the issue?

Please suggest for the resolution of the problem.

Thanks.

It can be confirmed that MIDI apps work properly with any software or device if the driver is installed in the right way. You may need to follow that whether it has been grabbed by its classical environment or not. For customization and diagnosis of setup problem AMS is the outstanding tool. Then again, you need not to do anything at AMS before using MIDI hardware device. Please identify whether or not you face the symptoms like this or not:

Look whether your MIDI interface does appear or not?
Does your MIDI interface is grayed out or not?
If your MacBook audio MIDI setup crashes after starting or when you attempt to click on MIDI devices?

If nothing happens like this you need not worry at all about changing anything. Again I want to say that customization is entirely optional or you can say not required. But for customizing please use “Add Device” button which will let you add external MIDI device to your setup. After that drag between the small port arrows on the interface and the MIDI device for the indication of the presence of MIDI cable. You just need to Double click the device to open a dialog where you can customize the device’s name, icon as well as to enter other information about it. You can also check the images I uploaded for you. Hope this will be helpful for you.

Thanks.

Hi,

If you have an apple computing running iTunes and want to get the high solution iTunes. You need the most out of the high resolution Audio. You need to switch to different resolution and only then you will be able to set the Amara for different purposes. Hence you need to test the Audio midi settings before you use the Amara software.
