Hi guys,

I have a problem using QuickBooks at work, while I am opening a QuickBooks company an error message appeared on my screen, it is suggesting that The QuickBooks administrator must grant an application permission to access a QuickBooks company data file for the first time.

QuickBooks Integration Error

Attempt to communicate with QuickBooks failed, Error “2147220456

This application has not accessed this QuickBooks company data file before.

The QuickBooks administrator must grant an application permission to access a

QuickBooks company data file for the first time.

That is why I ask somebody to do it, but after doing so, the same error message appeared on my screen, he did it again to ensure all things have done properly, but same error message appeared, I am now wondering, are there any problem aside from the access permission issue, please post some comments on my problem,

Thanks.

I have also faced a same problem. You may try this solution for your problem. First you need to sign in to your Quick Books but make sure that you are logging in from the main administrator account. After that go to

EDIT > PREFERENCES > and go to the icon of INTEGRATED APPLICATION. after that choose the tab of company preferences and unmark the box of don't allow applications and make notify the box of user before running and then mark the application named QuoteWerks and then choose its all properties.

You also make sure that the boxes of begin with allow are marked and the box of prompt is unmarked but also grayed out. When you applied all these changes you should be able to handle and fix your all problems.

Have a nice day.
