Hi,

I am running Windows 2008 Terminal Server. I have an issue with an application and when I attempt to launch it I receive this error. I’m not sure; I wonder if this happens when you kick off a user in the terminal server while the application is up and running? How do I fix this?

Application Virtualization Error

The Application Virtualization Client could not launch FileZilla 3.5

The directory name is invalid.

Application Virtualization Error: could not launch FileZilla 3.5

Hi,

This problem occurs when the directory has been changed or the location has been changed. When you install a program on your computer, all the application files are loaded to the program files folder by default. These folders and files should not be moved as the saved data is contained in them. If you move the files then the information will be lost as the application does not know where the files have been moved to.

The program files are very essential and even if you delete or change one file, the entire application will not run. You are facing the error because the specific directory has been changed or deleted and the application is not able to access it. So I suggest you to reinstall it on your computer and do not change the program files.

Hope this information helps you.
