To fix this problem, you will find three folders with temporary files and delete them. In all three cases, start by going to your Library:

1. Go to "Preferences" then go to "Sports Interactive", then go to "Football Manager 2012" and delete all contents in this folder.

2. Go to "Logs", then go to "Sports Interactive", then go to "Football Manager 2012" and delete all contents in this folder.

3. Go to "Caches", then go to "Sports Interactive", then go to "Football Manager 2012"  and delete all contents in this folder.

Now your copy of Football Manager 2012 v12.0.1f225816 will work properly.
