Hi,

I am using F-Spot using F-spot-0.0.13-1mdk.i586.rpm on Mandrake 2005 LE system. I am unable to use F-spot properly because of the following error message. I just reboot my system and started the program again but the error still exists. What should I do to fix this issue? The system specs are 526MG memory and a Sempron 2500 CPU on a PC Chips
M825G motherboard with on board graphics. Please suggest me a solution. Thanks in advance.

The Application “f-spot’ has quit unexpectedly.

You can inform the developers of what happened to help them fix it. Or you can restart the application right now.

Hi,

I'm not an F-spot developer but I suggest you to try these things out:

1. Remove the CD from the drive and restart F-Spot. If this works, delete CD photos in the catalog.

2. Maybe there's a problem with your machine in reading CDs. Try to insert a blank CD. If it can read, proceed to the next step.

3. Manually delete CD photos from the catalog by editing the database file using the SQLite database ~ /. gnome2/f-spot.

Hi Leonard!
Here are some ways to fix this problem:
1. Try to delete the CD pictures that can be found in the catalog. To do this you have to select the pictures in F-Spot then right click and click the "Remove from catalog"
2. Try to edit the F-Spot picture in database to delete the CD photo files. You can find the database in ~/.gnome2/f-spot
