Hello there!

Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 might have touched down in the technology world nowadays. Survey wise, people still refer to Apple's iPad since it is more easy to use and compatible to a lot of users. However, each does things better than the other depending on the users. Playbook may be a bit smaller than the iPad where other people refer to use since it comes very handy than the bigger size of iPad but there are uses of iPad which cannot be found in Playbook. Market wise, it is still known that Apple products are still dominant. Price talk, iPad do cost a fortune while Playbook creates a punch with its surprisingly lower price. Quality wise, Apple products are known for its Apple Care system which helps them with people having problems with their products and Playbook does not do everything iPad can.

As for now, iPad may be dominant but Blackberry Playbook can still grow. One will never know how they can outgrow the future.

Hope it helped.

Thanks.

Let's try to look at the differences between the two. Their most obvious distinction is their sizes. The BlackBerry PlayBook is a 7-inch device with 193 x 130 x10mm weighting 400g. iPad 2 is a 10-inch device with 241 x 186 9mm weighing 610g. iPhone has a home button while BlackBerry has not buttons on front. For this, PlayBook is much portable; a smaller tablet is easier to carry. The iPad 2 has a dual-core tablet fray with Apple 1Ghz dual-core chip while BB PlayBook has 1 GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor. Both platforms are relatively close and both the processor is sufficient to use.

BB PlayBook uses Niche QNX OS that feels like you are just using a BB mobile phone that focuses more on multi-tasking and gesture-based controls. iPad 2 uses an iOS 5 update that is a perfect UI for tablets. On this category, iOS is better than the BB QNX. iPad has a lot of quality apps from the respected developers. The quality of each app is more portable such as Sony and Nintendo. BB users are not so contented with the paltry offers from the application store. They cannot even support the previous mobile apps. And a lot more features that make the iPad 2 on top positions even if BlackBerry releases their latest OS 2.0.
