I have Linux Kernel 3.5.2 and was wondering if someone knows how to remove DRM protection from m4v and other popular file formats? Any kind of help regarding this would be appreciated.

M4V is a multimedia DRM-protected video container format designed specifically for Apple products like iPhone, iPod, and iTunes store. Because m4v is totally linked with Apple Inc. it is more likely that your m4v file will be protected by copyright which is Apple’s FairPlay DRM copyright protection. To remove the DRM protection from the video, you can use a video converter called M4VGear.

It is designed to remove DRM protection from iTunes videos and convert them into unprotected MP4 video format with 100 percent lossless quality. For Windows users, download it from M4VGear For Windows Trial. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. For Mac, download it from M4VGear For Mac Trial.

It supports OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, and 10.11 El Capitan. The trial version allows you to convert only one minute of the video. You need to purchase the full version from M4VGear Purchase Full Version for $44.95 to convert the entire video.
