Any updates regarding Mountain lions battery issue

I don't think the issue with the battery draining on the mac books has been addressed yet, but it likely to be addressed  in the next 10.8 x update.

But what has been noted is that the problem lies within one of Mountain Lion's new features like the following:

• The Power Nap
• There is also limited success that has been found when it comes to resetting the machine's system management controller. A legitimate resolution has not been discovered just yet.

Not all machines are affected by the purported battery drain issue for there are some that have said that their battery life increased after installing the new operating system.

Dear User,

There are so many complaints about this issue. Many users who have updated their OS in to Mountain Lion, have seen noticeable amount of battery draining.

There is a tread in the apple forum that many users have complained this.

But hopefully apple is and will be providing you with a solution in the future updates.
