Can anybody assist me on working with Unified Communication Managed API (UCMA) 2.0 and Office Communication Server (OCS) 2007?

I need to create custom presence for my user in my app.

Anybody out there who has done this before and can help me out?

I want to start using either of the two on doing my stuff.

Thank you for the help!

Hi Tarah,

It is possible to create your custom presence using Unified Communication Managed API (UCMA) 2.0 and Office Communication Server (OCS) 2007. What you just need to do is execute some stored procedures on Office Communication Server and add the customer presence you would like to use. You would then be able to publish those presence after those procedures.

You can try to go here and read additional information regarding unified communication managed API from setting up sessions to the likes of custom presence https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/jcalev/tag/2.0/. Additional information can also be found on the Microsoft site http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24883 for triggering alerts and presence via workflow activity.
