Antivirus : Virus hides windows files

Hi,

I am in big trouble. I am using avast antivirus and virus hides windows files. I think the antivirus is not working properly or not able to remove the virus. Please suggest me some good antivirus for resolving this issues.

Hi Oliviarwilkes,

Just update your antivirus software, and then run scan. And if didn’t work, if you have idea which file is causing the problem just send the file name to avast customer support. If you really want to change your antivirus you may choose the most credible one that is Norton antivirus/Norton internet security or kaspersky.

Download malwarebytes antimalware from malwarebytes.org. Much better in scanning and removing virus from your PC than any other antivirus software.

Hello,

If you are facing problem with virus in your PC then at first you can uninstall your antivirus and then install the antivirus again. After that start the scan and then if the problem is solved then it is OK but after then if you face problem then you can change your antivirus. I think that will help. Try this.
