Hi friends, I am used with internet. Recently one of my friend system got crashed due to a virus that came through the internet. In order to avoid such issues, I am need of antivirus software for my internet browsers. Which can save my computer from virus attack through internet. Is antivirus software for internet browsers available free if so please tell the sites. Thanks in advance

There are two types of Antivirus programs : Antivirus and internet security software
What are you asking about is the internet security software, this program scans the site you are about to enter and warn you if there is any risks before entering the site.
Unlike the antivirus software which only scan the files after you enter the site which could lead to a greater risk.
The difference is the browsing speed, in internet security software internet browsing will become slower due to the fact that the software enter the site first scan it and then allow you to access, but the Antivirus software does not slow your browsing speed at all.
Free internet security software is offering a limited amount of security unlike the purchasable ones, but if you insist on a freeware here is some of them:
