People have been waiting with lot of interest in Android L updates specifically for HTC M7 and M8. Earlier there was some tweet confirmation from Vice President of HTC in US that the users will be able to download updates in this week. But now it seems there is some delay in the update. Is Android Lollipop update for HTC One (M8) and (M7) postponed?

Yes, Google has been delayed the release and update of Android version 5.0 that is Lollipop to HTC M8 and M7. It was scheduled to delivered on 21st of November 2014. But HTCÂ product vice presidents said that it is delayed since Google informed that due to a re-spin of android 5.0 software is needed again so the release is delaying. But recent news says that Android 5.0 is about to be release within 1st week of December 2014.

According to new updates that come from the HTC. Htc has announced that the ruling of the Android 5.0 will start from the Jan 3. The wait was due to the bugs that were creating the problem with the htc device. Now you just go to the about device and check for the update and you will find the update there.
